cabin in Eagles Ridge Resort North
What price ranges do those units start?
A one bedroom cabin will
begin in the neighborhood of $250,000. The following factors are
taken into consideration when pricing a new cabin to be built:

Size of the cabin

The type of lot the
cabin will be built on (steep lots which give the best views typically cost
more because of the foundation required)

Type of furnishings.
We will provide an allowance for the complete furnishing of the cabin.
How does
the building process work?
You choose the lot, the type of cabin you want and we will take it
from there. when construction is underway, we will set up a
meeting you and our professional decorator to select the types of
decorations, colors and themes that you want to have in your new
cabin. Then simply come in for a final walk-thru before
closing.
What
size unit do you recommend?
A one (1) bedroom one (1)
bath with a hot tub & Jacuzzi gives the best return on money.
However, four (4), five (5), six (6) and seven (7) bedrooms are also good
investments.
Certain two (2) and three (3) bedroom units are great investments to
those owners who are looking for a true second home and plan to visit often.
What type of down payment do I need?

Choose a style of cabin that you like, either
from our current resort or plans of your choosing.

Pick a lot in the Resort.

A price is determined and agreed upon and a
contract is written.

At the signing of a contract, you pay $5,000.00
earnest money.

20% when construction begins.

20% when the blocks are complete.

20% when logs are stacked.
-
20% when roof is completed.
-
The remaining balance to be paid at closing.
How long will it take to complete
construction?
It
takes approximately 120 days to complete the unit.
When construction is complete, is the
cabin ready to rent?
Yes, the price includes all
furnishings needed to completely equip your unit for rental, except for the
linens, which will be arranged by the management company.

What if I am unable to come to closing?
No problem. We handle
many closing by the way of overnight packaging. As a matter of fact, it is
rare that we have both Buyer and Seller present at closing.
If I am not at closing, how will I change my utilities?
At Summit Real Estate, we
attempt to make your cabin purchase as easy as possible. Approximately 90%
of our buyers are from out of state. Because of that, we have developed a
method of changing utilities that involves basically no effort on the part of
the buyer. We have forms that allow us to change the utilities into the
buyers name. This way even if you are present at closing, you do not have
to drive all over town after closing to change the utilities.
As Owner, how much can I use the unit?
All cabins in Eagles Ridge
North are managed by Eagle
Property Management, Inc. They have no limit on the days an owner can use the unit.
As long as it has been properly reserved by the owner.
However, spur of the moment trips can often be arranged.
When an owner uses his unit, the only fee required is for clean up.
